Reboldoeux

Reboldoeux, a city where you need to copy and paste the name to get it right…

After arriving in the city the first task is to create the rest of the family. Up to three people can be part of the party at any time, and a fourth member waits in the quarters. So two more people: a scout (assassin and healer) and, finally, a mage. My fighter covers close combat, the mage ranged combat, and the scout heals them when necessary. Very efficient.

Memo to self: post family picture.

Sir Lyndon - head honcho of the city - wants to see me, gives me some starting equipment, and has a quest for me: more paperwork. By now I feel that every soldier has read, signed, or checked my "papers".

Everything I’ve read about the graphics of the game is quite true: it looks really good. One of the most beautiful RPGs I’ve seen so far. And the music in the "Office of Pioneering Support Headquarters" makes me positively giddy.

On with the game. After some more errands I’m sent Reboldoeux stone pit - the beginners area. On the way I meet young Ramiro asking me to save his sister. Bold as I am, I accept. Next thing I know some fire turrets in the dungeon grill me. I’m dead. Darn.

Good thing: you can’t die, at least not permanently. You simply drop to the ground and recover a minute later. This makes it possible for anyone to "survive" even the hardest battle. It just takes some time, and might get frustrating…

Later, I start to think about venturing into the Al Quelt Moreza dungeon. Again, a name that you better copy & paste…
